中大學生會：新民主女神像加固 可抵受10號風球
中大學生會表示，現時在校園擺放的新民主女神像，將會做加固工程，為期兩星期，以應付風季來臨。 負責的義務工程師何國強說，會先吊起女神像，傾倒四噸半重的石屎漿做底座，再用三條鋼纜加固神像，預計可抵受超過十號風球的風力。 中大學生會會長黎恩灝表示，由於學生會並非獨立法人，不能為神像買保險，需要由中大代購，會繼續與校方商討保險問題。
