Die kolumbianische Popssängerin tanzte zusammen mit Schülern für den Wiederaufbau einer historischen Schule in Port-au-Prince, die bei dem verheerenden Erdbeben im Januar 2010 verschüttet worden war. Die von Shakira ins Leben gerufene 'Barefoot'-Stiftung beteiligt sich an dem Aufbau zusammen mit anderen Nichtregierungsorganisationen und der interamerikanischen Entwicklungsbank.
