"So What" is a song written by American pop rock singer Pink, Max Martin and Shellback. It was released as the first single from Pink’s fifth studio album Funhouse.  "So What" was performed by Pink at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, on September 7, 2008, and was used to promote the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards Latin America. Pink performed "So What" on MTV Europe Music Awards 2008 on November 6, 2008. In September, 2008, the song became Pink's first solo number-one hit in her native USA. It has also reached #1 in twenty-five other countries.
