A man convicted of killing an beheading a 3-year-old girl known as "Precious Doe" will serve life in prison. Harrell Johnson was convicted of first degree murder last month for the 2001 murder of Erica Green. Prosecutors did not seek the death penalty in the case partly because Johnson withdrew his request to have the trial moved out of Kansas City.
