Guitar Mac is a blues legend abducted in the blues hall of fame in 1991, Blues DJ of the year award in 1990, Best Band leader of the year award at the 2006 West Coast Blues Hall of Fame & Awards Show! Guitar Mac has the key to the city of Sacramento given to him by Mayor Ann Rudden 1990 on black history month in Old Sacramento for his musical contributions to the music scene in the Sacramento area at the 14th annual blues festival.
