Lafayette: Lessons in Leadership from the Idealist General
author and historian Marc Leepson talked about the history of the Marquis de Lafayette and the impact of his leadership on the American fight for independence. In 1777, at the age of twenty, the Marquis de Lafayette travelled from France to the colonies to volunteer his services with George Washington’s Continental Army. He later would work to secure France's full support for the American cause and in the process become a hero of the revolution.
