Public Record North American Futures: Canadian and U.S. Perspectives (Courtesy of University of California Television) Held in Berkeley, California from March 12th to 13th, 2010, this conference examined the issues surrounding the North American relationship and its role in a changing world.  This Keynote Panel, entitled "A North American Commons?", featured Allan E. Gotlieb (Former Canadian Ambassador to the U.S) and Thomas R. Pickering (Former U.S. Ambassador to Canada). In their discussion, Gotlieb and Pickering explored the intricate relationship between Canada and the United States.
