Guarding the Quality of Image
Steven Poster was born and raised in Chicago and studied at Southern Illinois University and the Los Angeles Art Center College of Design. He started his career in still photograph and has worked as a Camera Operator and Director of Photography in the documentary, commercial, music video and motion picture worlds. He is currently the National President of the American Cinematographers Guild and International Cinematographers Guild. Some of his recent Director of Photography credits include "The Revenge of Kitty Galore," "The Box," "Spread," and "Stuart Little." His earlier credits include Photographer for "Blade Runner" and Director of Photography Second Unit for "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."
