AT&T (T) and Deutsche Telekom (DTEGY) announced they entered into a definitive agreement under which AT&T will acquire T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom in a cash-and-stock transaction currently valued at about $39B...American International Group (AIG) released a preliminary pre-tax insurance loss estimate for Chartis, its property casualty insurance unit, of $1B, or $0.9B after tax, 1.1% of total AIG shareholders' equity as of December 31, 2010, net of all reinsurance recoverables for 1Q11, related to various catastrophes, including a pre-tax insurance loss of $0.7B related to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and related exposures...Deere (DE) expects delays on delivery of some excavators due to the Japan crisis…And finally, Boeing's (BA) 747-8 Intercontinental has conducted it's successful first flight.
