iReport — Heavy rain started just after 9 P.M. and it came down hard, roads flooded as fast, of course the West Main traffic circle was full and cars and trucks were stalled and Codiac RCMP blocked Wheeler leading into the circle and Salisbury Road , there was a car stuck in the middle of the causeway leading to Riverview from this area. One of the officers said the pavement had buckled on Wheeler where it was flooding going into the circle. Also flooding on West Main at Verdun, and quite a lightning show went on for well over a hour. Public works is busy setting up barricades and soon as they take them down it starts to pour again and roads had to be blocked off again . A few tow trucks were needed to deal with stranded motorists. A part of Wheeler Blvd could be blocked off until sometime tomorrow, because of the pavement letting go.
