This is one of the nation’s top 10 zoos with exhibits including the Cat Forest/Lion Overlook, Great EscApe, Aquatics, Butterfly Garden and Island Life. Open daily except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Summer hours (Memorial Day through Labor Day) are 9 am-6 pm, exhibit buildings close at 8 pm. Off-season hours are 9 am-5 pm, buildings close at dusk. Admission: adults $7, kids (3-11) $4, seniors $4, kids 2 and under free. Originally aired August 12, 2006
