Equity futures are pointing higher this morning with the Dow Jones Industrial Average looking to open 57 points higher while the broader S&P500 index is looking to open over 6 points higher. Moving fast in the pre-market session are shares of NYSE Euronext up over 10% after Nasdaq OMX Group and IntercontinentalExchange announced a joint proposal to acquire NYSE; Golar LNG Ltd up over 6% on news that its subsidiary filed for an IPO; Ebix Inc up over 5% after it increased the size of its share repurchase plan; and Star Scientific up over 5%. Shares of Nasdaq OMX Group are trading over 5% lower; shares of Winthrop Realty Trust are down over 8% after it announced pricing of its public offering of common shares; shares of Office Depot are down over 10% after it restated its 2010 financials; and shares of Logitech International are down over 19% after the company lowered its guidance.
