桑田投手「日本に帰ってゆっくり考えたい」
パイレーツから戦力外通告を受けた桑田真澄投手は現地時間１５日、「悔いは何もない。精いっぱいやれた。（引退については）日本に帰ってゆっくり考えたい」などと述べ、現役からの引退を示唆した。しかし、「当面は右足首の治療に専念したい」と話している。
