It’s a mixed bag for the electronics industry during the financial crisis.  Industry representatives at the electronics fair say orders from the US and Europe are down about 15%. But orders from emerging markets are up about 10%. Money magazine looks what companies are doing to target the emerging markets. In this month's tech specs reporter Michael Wong and SCMP's Bien Perez check out an under water MP3 Player and eyeglasses with a camera. Business at pawn shops is hopping during the economic downturn. Pawn shops can act as a place offering high interest loans for people, generally about 3.5% per month, or 42% a year. Or they can just be a place where people sell their jewellery, gold or other valuables if they need the money.
