紅梅谷村3級火 消防員拖喉350米灌救
沙田紅梅谷村早上發生火警，一列面積25米乘20米的鐵皮木屋焚毀，無人受傷。 火警在早上9時半發生，之後升為3級。由於起火場面積大及位於斜坡，消防要由不同位置尋找水源救火有困難，要在350米外拖喉灌救。火警在11時前被救熄。 火警現場存放有石油氣，並曾傳出多次爆炸聲，消防相信沒有違規。 幾十名村民受火警影響，被暫時安置在附近的隆亨社區會堂，直至解封為止。
