Getting the Big Picture
A message from guest speaker Pastor Tom Greene, on the topic of Missions. Bio: I am presently serving as the national director of Men’s Ministries for the Assemblies of God, providing leadership to the vision ‘to reach, teach and release men to grow to their full potential in Christ.” I also have the honor to serve as the national director of Light for the Lost. In addition to the administrative duties of National Men’s Ministries, I am blessed with an active speaking schedule, including churches, missions conventions, men’s events and leadership conferences. This is a fulfillment of God’s call to preach that I accepted at age nineteen. Prior to leading the Men’s Ministries team, I served for nine years in National Youth Ministries of the Assemblies of God, first as director of Speed the Light and later as Director of Youth Ministries. This followed a 12-year term as the District Youth Director in Oklahoma. My best friend after almost thirty five years of marriage remains my wife, Pam. Not only has she been a faithful companion, but she has been the greatest gift in the ministry to which we have both committed our life’s work. Her devotion to prayer and God’s Word have been foundational to any contribution we have made in the Kingdom of God. We have two grown children, Bridgette and Andy, who are both involved in full-time ministry. Bridgette, her husband Chresten, and their two daughters Bonnie and Libby, make up Chresten Tomlin Ministries, evangelists based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Andy and his wife Sarah, along with their children Clare, Lilly and Maxwell, reside in the Oklahoma City area as church planters.
