For most people, the idea of "surrender" drums up images of white flags waving after an embarrassing defeat in battle or throwing in the towel to end a devastating boxing match. But one of the great, un-embarrassing, un-devastating paradoxes of the Christian life is that the way to true freedom is through a fully surrendered life to Christ. We all know people who have freely chosen an addiction to something destructive. Or maybe choosing success at work over succeeding at home, or who have needlessly accrued large amounts of debt. Yes, freedom is the permission to give ourselves fully to whatever we choose. This series is all about choosing true freedom through a life fully surrendered to a God who created us to be free.
