４日にチリ南部で噴火した火山で、約４０キロ離れた隣国・アルゼンチンの町では約３０センチの火山灰が降り積もった。一部住民が避難した他、水道や電気が止まるなど被害は拡大。州政府は経済的にも影響が出るとして、緊急事態宣言を発令し、国に援助を要請。
