Sprint (NYSE: S), after learning of the AT&TT-Mobile pending merger, has not backed down to competition. The company revealed its new generation of devices exclusively at the annual CTIA Wireless convention today, showing of the HTC EVO View 4G tablet and the HTC EVO 3D phone.The EVO 3D is set to be the newest innovation on the market: a phone that can display 3D images and video. According to a press release, the phone will have a 4.3-inch glasses-free 3D display as well as a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1G of RAM memory.The powerhouse of a phone will also include a dual 5-megapixel camera that will be capable of taking 2D and 3D video. Sprint will also be partnering with Blockbuster to let customers have access to the video provider’s 3D movie library. Sprint said the tablet and the EVO 3D phone will be available this summer. Prices for the devices have not been set. Sprint shares are up 3.84% to $4.53.
