On the call side, Virgin Media (NASDAQ:VMED) calls are trading over 22 times their average volume after several investors bet heavily on the company ahead of their quarterly earnings report later this month. Toll Brothers (NYSE:TOL) calls are trading over 10 times their average amount after shares of the company were upgraded by analysts. PACCAR (NASDAQ:PCAR) calls are also very active today, trading just over 10 times their average volume. Celsion (NASDAQ:CLSN) calls are trading just under 9 times their average amount after the company released positive news about its liver cancer drug ThermoDox. Finally, VimpelCom (NYSE:VIP) calls close out the list at 4.8 times their normal volume on news that mobile handset sales are on the rise in Russia.Taking a look at the put side of the ledger, STEC (NASDAQ:STEC) puts are currently trading at 12 times their average volume after one investor placed a major bearish bet on the company. ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP) puts are trading at just over 8 their average volume on news that the company with split into two separate units. Marriott Corporation (NYSE:MAR) puts are trading at 8 times their average volume after the company reported a weak outlook. Finally, RF Micro Devices (NASDAQ:RFMD) and Marvell Technology (NASDAQ:MRVL) puts close out the list at over 5 times their average amount as investors continue to be bearish on the semiconductor industry.
