Former director of the Counterinsurgency Training Center in Kabul COL John Agoglia will respond to new research on the impact of humanitarian, development and stabilization approaches in Afghanistan. Christian Dennys from the UK Defence Academy will present findings on what is and is not working to foster stabilization, reintegration and human security based on his 7 years of conducting quantitative and qualitative research in Afghanistan alongside Afghan colleagues. Peter Walker, Director of the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University, will summarize four streams of research on the differing perceptions of security and “hearts and minds” campaigns in Afghanistan between Peace keeping forces, Aid workers and Afghan villagers.
