Private enterprise takes over space race
NASA is scheduled to launch a shuttle into space for the very last time on Friday. It’s the end of an era for the United States which dominated the space race for more than 50 years. Several private companies are competing to take over the manned space transport sector, claiming they will be able to send humans into space cheaper and faster than ever before. (AFP TV World)
