Producers Seek Tupac Actor for New Film
'Training Day' director Antoine Fuqua, along with Morgan Creek Productions and Skee.TV, are scouring the World Wide Web to find a newcomer to play legendary rapper Tupac Shakur in their upcoming motion picture.Aspiring actors who think they can embody the late rap star can submit an audition video to www.InSearchOfTupac.com starting tonight at midnight. During the month-long casting call, the site will include rare video and interviews of Tupac exclusively from www.2pac.com, his official website. The website will also provide information and other opportunities in regards to the film."We are excited to partner with Morgan Creek on this innovative casting call," Skee.TV founder Scott "DJ Skee" Keeney said in a statement. "This audition process is a great example of utilizing today’s ever-evolving technology to reach fans and actors around the world to pay homage to a hip-hop legend." (ETonline.com)
