2010.05.31竹田城
天気に誘われて、電車を乗り継ぎ播但線の竹田駅へ。駅裏登山道から竹田城に登る。３５４ｍだそうだが、直登できびしい。でも、素晴らしい石垣が現れる。まさに天空の城である。城域は思いのほか広く、四方に絶景が広がる。隣の観音山経由で下り、帰路につく。
