Honda Fit
Following the success of the Mini Cooper, many companies looked to cash in on Mini fever by launching their own line of compact and practical cars. One of the best of the bunch in terms of fuel efficiency is, not surprisingly, from Honda, who knows a thing or two about squeezing the most miles per gallon out of their vehicles. The Honda Fit gets great mileage across all three of the options they offer, with the manual model getting 28 MPGs in the city and 34 on the highway, the basic automatic model getting 27 city and 34 highway, and the automatic sport option getting a very good 27 in the city and 33 miles per gallon when you take it on the highway. And the car’s design is smart too, offering a Mini experience that doesn't sacrifice space in the interior. There is ample room between the front and back seats, decent storage space, and the car is well designed so that it is comfortable to drive for even the tallest of motorists.
