覚せい剤を密輸しようとしたとしたチェコ国籍の23歳の女が逮捕された。覚せい剤取締法違反などの現行犯で逮捕されたのは、チェコ国籍のウェイトレス、カーショバー・ラトカ容疑者(23)。カーショバー容疑者は5月15日、フランクフルト発の航空便で成田空港に到着した際、覚せい剤およそ1,900グラム、末端価格にしておよそ1億5,000万円相当をスーツケースの2重底部分に隠して持ち込もうとしたところを税関検査で発見された。オランダで知り合った男性に頼まれ、報酬目的で運んだなどと供述しているという。
