東京電力は、29日の計画停電は終日実施しないと発表した。東京電力によると、29日は気温が平年並みで、電力の供給に一定の余裕が見込まれることから、すべてのグループで停電を実施しないという。平日で計画停電が終日、回避されるのは、初めてのこととなる。しかし、東京電力は、電力需要が急激に伸びた場合などは、停電を実施することもあるとして、引き続き節電を呼びかけている。
