As we age our reading vision deteriorates and we develop presbyopia. There are also surgical techniques, which can improve vision. In LASIK, or laser surgery, efforts are made to reshape the cornea. In CK, or conductive keratoplasty, the cornea is changed with radio-frequency energy.
