吉爾吉斯公投通過新憲法
吉爾吉斯舉行公投，通過新憲法，政府將會由總統制過渡到議會制。 公投投票率達6成半，當中接近9成已投票的選民支持通過新憲法。臨時政府強調，公投和平進行，其間沒有發生騷亂。 公投後，臨時總統奧通巴耶娃正式獲得過渡時期總統職權。她形容公投成功，認為新憲法有助形成良好司法制度，打擊貪污罪行。 吉爾吉斯政局在月初一度不穩，南部城市奧什爆發種族衝突，數千人死亡。分析相信，臨時政府透過公投得到法定權力後，可望穩定局勢。
