小時候，「口齒伶俐」的小朋友，媽媽會在人前稱子女是「只剩把口」。投身社會，有人也許實力一般，但能夠「靠把口」取悅上司，平步青雲。男女相處，即使相貌平庸，亦可甜言蜜語，取悅異性，甚至維繫夫妻感情。口技出眾者甚至可以登上政治高位，領導群眾，拙劣者則反被倒台。 可見說話的能力，在人生不同階段、社會不同層面，都具決定性作用。近年，坊間的說話技巧訓練班愈來愈多，針對幼稚園學生，至在職成年人的課程都有，教法不盡相同。 記者：何裕恒
