Alumna Cynthia Carroll returned to the University of Kansas today to accept an award, speak with business administration students and present a public lecture on multinational corporations. Carroll is the first female CEO of Anglo American, one of the world’s largest independent mining companies, and Forbes magazine ranked her No. 1 on its list of women who stand out in traditionally male-dominated industries.
