Angina Evaluation
Angina pectoris is the name for a chest pain or discomfort caused by a lack of blood supply to the heart muscle. If you’ve been diagnosed with angina, how often you need to be monitored will depend on the severity of the angina. An exercise stress test is often used to test how well the heart is pumping during exertion. Lifestyle changes, medication, stenting and bypass surgery are some of the treatment options for angina.
