HPA R32 at the Texas Mile... Fall 2010
Fellow vortexer and friend, Bill aka climbingcue, pilots my HPA R32 Twin Turbo down the 1 mile runway during the Fall 2010 event. The car was running 19psi boost and ~104 octane gas. Water meth was used for charge air cooling, and we did ice the AWIC prior to launch. Some statistics from the data logger... Top Speed 171.8 mph @ 1 mile in 29 seconds 0-60 3.8 seconds 0-100 8.4 seconds 60' 2.24 seconds 330' 5.4 seconds 1/4 mile 12.1 @ 122 60-130 @ 10.16 seconds The surface was concrete so I’m pretty happy with the times.
