Health care shares are down in mid-day trading, but Human Genome Sciences (HGSI) bucks the trend, after getting a key approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. the FDA approved BENLYSTA to treat adult patients with active, autoantibody-positive systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) who are receiving standard therapy. Meanwhile, Arena Pharmaceuticals (ARNA) says it has been issued United States Reissue Patent No. RE42,190 with claims to methods of identifying compounds that modulate the activity of the GPR119 receptor.
