Thai protests surround embattled PM’s house
Thousands of red-shirted protesters massed outside the home of Thailand’s embattled premier Abhisit Vejjajiva calling for his resignation. The stand-off with hundreds of police in front of the house was peaceful and came after a weekend of bloody civil violence which left at least 21 people dead.
