Down Central Avenue and Beyond
Who Remembers the Los Angeles of thirty years ago? Fifty years ago? As generations come and go it is easy to forget how precious oral histories are for understanding a people, a time, and a place. With every passing day, fewer and fewer members of the Los Angeles community remain to recall life in the early twentieth century.
