Scrums Liberal industry critic Marc Garneau, NDP leader Jack Layton and Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe discussed Garneau’s motion to reinstate the mandatory long-form census.An Ontario Court struck down key provisions of Canada’s prostitution laws today. Libby Davies, the NDP’s spokesperson for solicitation laws, and Marlene Jennings, the Liberal justice critic, commented on the ruling. Several aerospace industry leaders announced their support for the government’s purchase of F-35 fighter jets. Public Works Minister Rona Ambrose and Minister of State Denis Lebel spoke to reporters about the show of support.
