What Business Expenses Can Taxpayers Deduct?
To take a deduction, taxpayers must itemize and what they make determines how much of a deduction they can take. The first two percent of income is not subject to a deduction. So, if a taxpayer makes $50,000, he must have over $1,000 in business expenses to benefit.
