衛福局統計顯示，2007年，18歲以下未婚少女懷孕個案有461人，當中134人選擇分娩。有輔導未婚懷孕少女機構接觸個案中，年紀最小是十三歲懷孕。 《新聞透視》訪問了幾位未成年，未婚懷孕的少女，講述她們的故事。責備的說話，她們聽過不少，自己也悔不當初。她們不一定是外界想像的「不自愛」，只是當時年紀小，學識知識都不足夠，不懂得保護自己。 少女未婚懷孕，矛頭往往指向性教育不足。不過，有意見認為，性教育其實是其中一個環節，這些少女媽媽需要的，不僅僅是談「性」，而是如何做人。
