Epilepsy Made Better
Although there are a wide variety of effective anti-seizure medications on the market, some people with epilepsy develop what’s known as medication resistant or refractory epilepsy and are not able to become seizure free on medications. Although other methods can be used to try to reduce seizure activity, many times they fail, leaving approximately 1/3 of epilepsy patients unable to become seizure free and looking for alternatives to traditional anti-seizure methods.
