一座座在菲律賓北部的平房，代表一個個出國打工的故事。現時全港約有25萬外籍傭工在港工作，大約一半來自菲律賓。每位菲傭，背負著不少的辛酸及無奈：不能照顧父母、子女，夫妻感情亮起紅燈。既諷刺又可悲的是，她們離鄉別井打工，全為了讓家人活得更好，卻亦承受著斷送自己家庭的危機，令她們長期處於徨恐、期待與失望當中。 每逢節慶，她們獨身在外，思鄉心切；每逢假期，她們在中環皇后像廣場，載歌載舞，在這十三萬的菲律賓女傭裡，每張笑臉背後，都有著不同的故事...
