KU may raise the bar for admissions
The University of Kansas may raise the bar on admissions for incoming students. While many public universities already have selective admissions, the University is the only research school in the American Association of Universities that does not. The university is pushing for a selective admissions policy because it wants to attract students who can be successful at a research-oriented institution.
