Tweet   You guys remember St. Pete, FL cop killer Hydra Lacey? He killed two cops Jan 24th 2011 as they were trying to serve his arrest warrant.  The final report came out today detailing how Lacey shot the first cop, hanged him up from the attic and used his body as bait for other cops. He was also listening in on the dead officer’s ear piece knowing exactly what the cops were doing. They say they More..didn't know he was in the attic. My questions is, where was the FLIR technology to find heat signatures pin pointing this animal hiding out in the attic? Damn. Lacey ended up dead of multiple gunshot wounds. From the report: The chief and the prosecutor's report claim Lacey was located at the far end of the attic and said he was surrendering, complying with Yaslowitz's commands. Then he suddenly produced a 9mm Luger and shot the K9 officer twice in the face. Deputy Ley tased Lacey but was also injured. According to the report, Lacey quickly moved the dead officer's body next to the attic opening and secured it with wire and duct work. "To have the thought or the aforethought to tie an officer virtually up and hang him as bait from an attic entrance is- I don't know how to explain that, I can't even imagine that somebody would think that way but that's what happened" Harmon said.
