Sanary-sur-Mer is a covenant in the Var division in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur part in southeasterly Writer.  It is set 13 km (8.1 mi) from Toulon and 49 km (30 mi) from Material. The seafront position was object of the commune of Ollioules. In the 16th century the seigneur established a sportfishing settlement here, clustered around the medieval watchtower, under the shelter of "Sanct Nazari" of Lérins Abbey. The side was constructed and the sanctuary concentrated in the mid-16th century. The small fishing embrasure of Fear Nazari was finally granted its independency from Ollioules in 1688, and in 1890 officially received its topical examine in Provençal, Sanary, which was formalized and great as sur-Mer in 1923.
