Five Toledo firefighters were promoted at a ceremony Friday morning, but none may have been more special than the pinning ceremony of a new female battalion chief.  Four generations of family showed up to watch Sally Glombowski take the oath of office, just the third woman to become a battalion chief at the Toledo Fire Department - one step below the top brass. But she’s just following in her father's footsteps: also a battalion chief before he retired 30 years ago. "I think it's something that we just grow up with,” explained Sally. ”It's comfortable for us and we see the heroes in our own family and we aspire to do the same thing."
