As themers, we are constantly removing and overriding styles from Core modules.  This creates cruft, either in PHP to override inclusion of styles or in CSS. Most of this CSS is not necessary and simply impedes the development of new derivative themes. During this session I will present a vision for a Core without styles. The pristine D8 release. I will talk about how much CSS is presently in Core and the effort required to remove it. I will also present a model for the D8 development process with themers as significant contributors. Most of all I want like-minded Drupalists to help craft this movement in order to influence the development of D8. I also want Drupalists opposed to this approach to voice their opposition. This would be a radical shift from the current state Drupal and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.
