Visualizing Music with the Tenori-On
Yamaha’s new digital musical instrument, the Tenori-On, is a 16x16 matrix of LED switches that's designed for the visual generation of MIDI music loops. Editors Danny Allen and Brian Chen take a look at this unique instrument that's part drum machine and part sequencer, and determine that it's a lot of fun but a bit on the pricey side.
