BroadSoft Topped Q1 Estimates, Top Line Surged 67%, Upped Gu
BroadSoft (NASDAQ:BSFT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.18, ahead of consensus estimates of $0.12 per share. Revenues for quarter rose 66.9% year-over-year to $29.7 million, topping consensus estimates of $28.6 million.The company sees Q2 EPS of $0.09 to $0.11, vs. consensus estimates of $0.09 per share, on revenues of $28 to $29 million, vs. consensus estimates of $27.21 million. It raised its guidance for 2011, and now sees EPS of $0.67 to $0.77, vs. consensus estimates of $0.62 per share, up from $0.56 to $0.66, on revenues of $121 to $125 million, vs. consensus estimates of $119.9 million.Michael Tessler, president and chief executive officer, BroadSoft said, "BroadSoft is off to a great start in 2011, delivering record first quarter financial results driven by continued strong demand for our hosted unified communications and SIP trunking applications from both new and existing customers.
