横綱・朝青龍、現役引退表明 王貞治氏「本人だけでなく相撲ファンにとっても残念」
朝青龍が現役引退を表明したことを受け、ソフトバンクホークスの王貞治会長(69)がコメントを出した。王会長は「優勝25回を誇り、横綱として立派な成績を残してきただけに、引退は本人にとってだけではなく、相撲ファンにとっても残念なことです。今後については未定とのことですが、いずれの道に進むにしても、頑張ってほしいものですね」とコメントした。
