By the time the Bachelor finale aired in March, Brad and Em had already broken up at least once.  Why? For Emily, watching The Bachelor every Monday showed her how Brad had the tendency to say the exact same thing to several of his bachelorettes. That on top of the distance, living arrangements, lifestyle differences, stubborn tempers, media scrutiny, and bad communication ultimately sunk the pair. And we gotta say, our hearts are a little broken as well.
